Would you be able to bring in a fiancee or spouse from another country if you have a low income?
Some people told me that I won't be able to bring in my vietnamese fiancee or spouse from vietnam if i have a low income. I work at Burger King full time and I make $8 dollars an hour. I want to be able to marry her. The economy is so bad that it makes have to take a job which i really don't want but I don't complain because I love food. Would I be able to bring her into the united states if i work and make a low income ???
You're going to need a co sponsor to make up for your lack of income. You should really consider the fact that just the visa application and various fees cost around $1,000, and if it's a fiancee visa, it will cost another $1,070 to adjust her status when she arrives. Then it costs more down the line to get her 10 year greencard and apply for naturalization. Can you really afford it at this time?
